Crafts Redesigned made these cute Wood Family Blocks.  It takes little more than Mod Podge, black and white photos, and a bit of craft paper!  I love ideas like this that are super simple, but give a personal touch to a home!

Momspiration Mondays

Welcome to the first ever Momspiration Mondays!  I have been so inspired by other mom bloggers that I thought it would be fun to share links to my favorite frugal & creative ideas.  And here they are:


I don’t know about you, but I’ll be doing some serious tag sale-ing after reading this post over at Hoosier Homemade!


While I’m at it, I’ll look for some interesting shoes I can use in my very own Garden of Lost Soles!


And what the heck, I might as well see if I can score some old pillowcases and turn them into Super Hero Capes with Naptime Journal.


Alas, my only daughter is ten years old, and wa-a-ay to *ahem* mature for ruffles. But if you have a younger girl, wouldn’t it be fun to do a Pillowcase Dress with Aesthetic Nest?

This one is my favorite.  Little Apartment on the Prairie has the most clever idea for all your baby food jars!
